Mrs Marshman is our full time Nursery teacher. We also have Miss Lawrence, Mrs Bowkett and Miss Preece who are our wonderful teaching assistants.
We have constant access to indoor and outdoor provision, whatever the weather we are out and prepared with waterproof clothing.
Our Nursery is a safe, secure and caring environment where children flourish, feeling confident and ready to learn.
Children have to be 3 years old before they are able to attend. There are a maximum number of 52 places in the morning and 52 places in the afternoon sessions. Please call in to see us if you would like to discuss your child's hours, we try to be as accommodating as possible.
Every child is government funded 15 hours a week, however, full day provision is available with 30 hours funding is available for those eligible, please enquire at the school office for further details.
Will a place at the Nursery guarantee my child a place at Marlbrook Primary School?
No. Application to the Reception classes is a seperate matter governed by the Local Authority. Please see our admin staff if you have any questions regarding this.
The Nursery day
The morning session is from 8.30am-11.30am.
The afternoon session is from 12.30pm-3.30pm.
If booking a full day the lunch hour is also included at no extra charge (packed lunch required).
We encourage a Marlbrook school or plain navy jumper (school jumpers can be bought from school office), dark coloured jogging bottoms and black velcro shoes/pumps.
If you are looking for local activities or groups to join with your child in the holidays or when not in nursery why not pop over to the Herefordshire childens centre facebook page - it is updated regulary and lists some really lovely things to do locally.
