Nursery

Welcome to Marlbrook Nursery!

Mrs Colwell is our full time Nursery teacher. We also have Miss Hughes and Mrs Gibson who are wonderful teaching assistants.
We are now working fully from the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) document in the Nursery (see the web link below for more details). This means we will be observing the children and planning our next steps from their interests. Many of the activities are child initiated with adult support and some are also adult led.

The children have constant access to indoor and outdoor provision, whatever the weather we are out and prepared with waterproof clothing.

Our Nursery is a safe, secure and caring environment where we all have lots of fun and make lots of mess together.

Eligibility

Children have to be 3 years old before they are able to attend. There are a maximum number of 26 places in the morning and afternoon sessions.

Children can only attend for a maximum of 15 hours a week.

Will a place at the Nursery guarantee my child a place at Marlbrook Primary School?

No. Application to the Reception classes is a seperate matter governed by the Local Authority. Please see our admin staff if you have any questions regarding this.

The Nursery day

The morning session is from 8.30am-11.30am.
The afternoon session is from 12.30pm-3.30pm.
