Nursery

 Welcome to Marlbrook Nursery!

Mrs Marshman is our full time Nursery teacher. We also have Miss Lawrence and Mrs Bowkett who are our wonderful teaching assistants.

We deliver a curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) document in the Nursery (see the web link below for more details). This means that the adults will be observing the children and planning our next steps from our interests. Many of the activities we do are child initiated with adult support and some are adult led to ensure that all areas of the EYFS are covered.

We have constant access to indoor and outdoor provision, whatever the weather we are out and prepared with waterproof clothing.

Our Nursery is a safe, secure and caring environment where children flourish, feeling confident and ready to learn.

Eligibility

Children have to be 3 years old before they are able to attend. There are a maximum number of 26 places in the morning and afternoon sessions.

Children can only attend for a maximum of 15 hours a week.

Will a place at the Nursery guarantee my child a place at Marlbrook Primary School?

No. Application to the Reception classes is a seperate matter governed by the Local Authority. Please see our admin staff if you have any questions regarding this.
